St. Louis Blues 2012-13 Preseason Schedule Released

The St. Louis Blues have released their preseason schedule for the 2012-13 season. The Blues will take the ice for the first time in an organized game on September 25th, competing in eight preseason games before the preseason wraps up on October 6th.

Preseason Schedule

September 25th – Blues @ Predators – 7:00pm
September 26th – Blues @ Lightning – 6:30pm
September 27th – Blues @ Wild – 7:00pm
September 28th – Lightning @ Blues – 7:00pm
September 29th – Wild @ Blues – 7:00pm
October 2nd – Predators @ Blues – 7:00pm
October 3rd – Blues @ Stars – 7:30pm
October 6th – Stars @ Blues – 7:00pm

You’ll notice that the Blues will skate in five preseason games in five days. This should allow the club to deploy all of their reserves as they decide which players will start the year in the NHL and which will begin things in the AHL. Look for the Blues to use completely different lineups each and every night over this stretch of five games in five days. For Blues fans craving hockey, this stretch should satisfy some appetites until the regular season commences.

They Blues will face the Stars, Predators, Lightning and Wild in this year’s preseason, playing one game on the road and one game at home. This will offer the Blues a chance to get an early read on their division rival, Nashville while also scouting one of the more underrated clubs in the Western Conference in Dallas.
