Steen scores his 20th goal in his 24th game

Alexander Steen scored his 20th goal of the season as the Blues bested the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 4-1. Steen's 20th came in just his 24th game and brought him level with Alex Ovechkin for most goals scored in the NHL.

Here's video of Steen's goal. The puck movement is incredible.

While Steen was the one who put the biscuit in the basket, give credit to his teammates – particularly David Backes – for some outstanding passing which made his goal possible. Still, Steen finished with composure and that's not an attribute we've seen on the St. Louis roster in quite some time.

As you can see in the video above, Steen is now the fastest Blues player to reach 20 goals since 1989-90.

That's some decent company. Well, maybe the inclusion of Boyes is a little bit painful, but this goes to show you just how incredible Steen's start to the year has been.
